Events

The Batavia Business and Professional Women's Club have two annual events to raise money for our scholarships and service projects. The first is our fall auction which will be held on October 5, 2006 at the Batavia Party House, Route 5 in Stafford.  This year’s theme is the 50's.  So dig out your poodle skirts and saddle shoes and lets rock and roll!! Tickets for the dinner will be $20.00 and will include a free chance at our centerpiece drawing, 15 free Chinese auction tickets and 5 free Grand prize tickets. Doors open at 5:00 PM with ticket sales for the Chinese auction, grand prizes and 50/50 going on sale, followed by dinner served at 6:30 and the "live auction" portion of our event immediately following.   The dinner will consist of Stuffed Chicken breast, fruit cup, and salad with party house dressing, potatoes, vegetables and dessert.   This event always proves to be a great evening full of fun and laughter.

The second event of the year is our December “Cookie” Auction. This event showcases the talents of our members from cookies to pies, fudge and candy, handcrafted items and much, much, more. This evening is often full of good spirited competition from members. Trying to out bid each other for their favorite goodies. It’s all in good fun and all for a good cause.
