In 2005 the club voted to form a Service Committee. This committee is involved with service projects throughout the community. The group has volunteered for bell ringing for the Salvation Army, decorating a tree for the Holland Land Office annual event the “Wonderland of Trees”, working on a mailing for Crossroads House, preparing lunch for the workers of Habitat for Humanity, being guides for Genesee Cancer Assistance “Tour of Homes” and working on the Festival of Hope. These are just a few of the special events and projects that we have been involved with since the committee formed. We take requests from community groups and enlist volunteers from the club to help out at these worthwhile projects.
